This vase is handcrafted from start to finish. A skilled blacksmith heats the metal over a fire and skillfully shapes and bends it with a hammer, resulting in slightly varying widths, thicknesses, and surface textures. It can't come out if we don't appreciate the hammering. Your flower placed within this artwork would create a visual statement, appearing as if it were floating.

Soemoru
Soemoru is a small forge run by a fourth-generation blacksmith, Cha In-gyu (father), and his son. The fusion of blacksmithing techniques passed down from generation to generation since the end of the Joseon Dynasty, coupled with the son's background in Western painting, imbues the hardened metal feel with a suppleness similar to a drawing. To this day, they still focus on passing on the traditional methods of heating the metal over a fire and shaping it through hammering. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted with its own uniqueness; no two are alike, exemplifying the essence of forging. Meet a one-of-a-kind masterpiece crafted with passion and dedication by these two artisans.
